Your first lesson is to learn the Spanish alphabet. Not just the letters themselves, but how vowels and consonants sound and work as well.

The main goal of this lesson is for you to start building the face, tongue, and throat muscles and muscle memory to be able to pronounce and speak Spanish correctly.

There is also a short vocabulary lesson on one-letter words.

And I included some information on the main Spanish Bible translations, as well as links to other free beginner resources.

Go through the lessons in the order below, and do any homework that is attached to each lesson.

A good pace for your study depends on why you want to learn Spanish, and how much time you have. If you need to be fluent ASAP and you have a lot of time on your hands, then sign up for courses and dive into every resource you can get your hands on and do it all day everyday. If you want to know how to have a few basic conversations a year from now then 10-15 minutes a day is probably a good pace for you. Consistency is the key, though. You will get better by practicing for 10 minutes every day than you will by practicing for one hour once a week. Try to make Spanish a part of your daily life from now on. It will get easier with time, and one day the rewards will pay off big time!
