Matthew 6
Matthew 6 is about our relationship with God. When I give, pray, and fast those things are to be between me and God. I'm not to do them for the approval or recognition of anyone else. God desires to have a personal, intimate relationship with each one of us, and, just like in marriage, there are aspects of that relationship that are to be strictly between the two of us; sharing them with others defiles or weakens the relationship.
Treasures in heaven, to me, are the people we look forward to seeing again in heaven, and relationships we build here that we will get to continue in there. Those with the "most" treasure in heaven are the ones with the richest relationships there - and no relationship should be greater than your relationship with God.
The lamp of the body: this one confused me for a long time, but I learned that the eye was considered to be the gateway to the soul in the culture where the New Testament was written. It's similar to how we would say someone has a good heart. The eye relates to your point-of-view, your perspective, or your attitude toward the world. A dark/bad/evil eye means you are basically cynical and have a pessimistic attitude, so everything that happens in life is interpreted negatively. To have a good eye means you see the good in things and are optimistic. You might even have "rose colored glasses" and see everything in their best light.
And the cherry on top of our relationship with God is that we do not have to worry - He has us in His hands, and there's no better place to be.
